Philadelphia, PA – Jade Cargill made a stunning debut on “WWE SmackDown” last Friday, joining forces with Naomi and Bianca Belair on the Road to WrestleMania. Her entrance, featuring a cosmic-themed display, marked a significant departure from her previous appearances in the Women’s Royal Rumble.
According to insiders from Fightful Select, Cargill’s entrance has been meticulously crafted over time, with potential further enhancements leading up to WrestleMania 40. WWE dedicated considerable effort to perfecting Cargill’s entrance, seeking input on camera angles, lighting, sound, and other critical elements. Cargill is set to team up with Belair and Naomi to face off against Damage CTRL’s Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Dakota Kai at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
Having signed with WWE in September, the former AEW TBS Champion had only sporadically appeared on WWE television until her debut in the Women’s Royal Rumble in January, where she showcased a dominant performance. Following the Rumble, Cargill remained off TV but hinted at an impending appearance prior to last Friday’s “SmackDown,” where she provided support to Naomi and Belair in their feud with Damage CTRL. Unless Cargill is scheduled for any matches prior to the coming weekend, her WrestleMania encounter will mark her first non-battle royal match since September and her first tag match since February 2023.
