Bushey, England — Authorities launched a manhunt Tuesday evening for 26-year-old Kyle Clifford from Enfield, who is wanted in connection with the tragic deaths of three women in Bushey, Hertfordshire. The victims, believed to be related to one another, were found deceased at a home in Ashlyn Close shortly before 7 p.m.
The incident, described by local police as “serious and harrowing,” prompted an immediate and ongoing search for Clifford. Police urged the public to come forward with any information that might help locate him.
Detective Superintendent Rob Hall of Hertfordshire Police underscored the gravity of the matter. “This is a critical situation. We believe Clifford may still be in the Hertfordshire or North London area. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should contact the authorities without delay,” Hall said.
Investigators disclosed that all three women sustained severe injuries and died at the scene despite emergency services’ quick response. The nature of their injuries has not been made public as the investigation continues.
The Hertfordshire Police have cautioned the public against approaching Clifford, who may still be armed. “If you see him, do not engage. Dial 999 immediately,” Hall advised.
Residents of Ashlyn Close and surrounding areas were left in shock as the quiet neighborhood became the focus of a major investigation. Police cordoned off the area Tuesday night, and forensic teams were seen examining the site.
Detective Superintendent Hall also mentioned that examination of CCTV footage and other digital evidence is underway to piece together the events leading up to the killings. He also requested anyone in the vicinity of Ashlyn Close between noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday to contact the police if they observed anything unusual.
The local community has been asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings that might assist in apprehending Clifford. The broader implications of the incident on local security are also being reviewed by authorities.
As the manhunt intensifies, community leaders have rallied to support the bereaved family, whose privacy has been repeatedly requested at this difficult time.
“This tragedy has deeply affected the community, and we must come together to support those grieving and cooperate fully with law enforcement,” said a local community leader.
The police promise to keep the public informed as new details emerge in the ongoing investigation.
