UPPER DARBY, Pa. — A young man has been charged with murder after his mother was found fatally stabbed in their home, turning a routine emergency call into a homicide investigation over the course of a single afternoon.
Quadir Ford, 20, faces multiple charges after police discovered Michelle Fleming, 51, dead from 12 stab wounds at their residence in Drexel Hill on Monday. Authorities initially received a call about a woman in cardiac arrest but quickly shifted their focus when they arrived to find Fleming unresponsive and evidence of violent crime.
