The original Matrix film, released in 1999, introduced audiences to a dystopian future where humanity is trapped in a simulated reality, with Keanu Reeves’ character, Neo, leading the narrative.
After a significant hiatus following the release of The Matrix Revolutions in 2003, the franchise returned with The Matrix Resurrections in 2021, directed by Lana Wachowski.
