FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Police have revealed the identities of a man and woman discovered deceased in a luxury condominium in Hallandale Beach, identifying them as Pajtim Kasniqi, 34, and Sabrina Kasniqi, 27. Early investigations indicate the couple, who were Kosovar Albanian nationals, died in a murder-suicide.
The tragic discovery was made early Wednesday morning after local law enforcement responded to an automated gunshot detection alarm near the oceanfront property located at 1830 S. Ocean Dr. Responding officers found the couple on a balcony of their high-rise condo unit, both having sustained gunshot wounds.
The incident drew additional police and forensic units to the upscale condominium complex, which is comprised of three buildings, as investigators worked to piece together the events that led to the shootings.
