FORT WORTH, Texas – A 32-year-old woman faces murder charges after allegedly stabbing her uncle to death during a conflict shortly after Christmas. The incident unfolded in their shared residence on Wade Avenue, where tensions escalated over meal preparations.
Authorities responded to an emergency call shortly after noon on December 26, finding Tony Graham unresponsive on the floor with a stab wound to the chest. A knife, believed to be the weapon used in the attack, was discovered nearby on a couch, and Ashley Siebenaller, the accused, was seated next to it when police arrived.
According to witness accounts, the argument began after Graham requested that Siebenaller prepare a meal, leading to an escalation that resulted in him allegedly locking her out of the house. The home, leased by another person, accommodated multiple tenants, including Siebenaller and her uncle, who shared common living spaces.
Upon their arrival, officers noted Siebenaller’s unresponsiveness. Attempts to gather information through written questions initially resulted in her denying any involvement in the stabbing and asserting that she had not harmed Graham.
Four days later, detectives reinterviewed Siebenaller, who appeared more communicative. While she initially distanced herself from the incident, she eventually disclosed that the fatal stabbing occurred amid their argument over food. Siebenaller claimed Graham had assaulted her first, stating he struck her in the mouth with a knife, but investigators found no injuries to support her claim.
On January 2, a housemate reported another concerning incident involving Siebenaller, stating she was seen outside their bedroom door holding a knife. This alarming report prompted police to apprehend her without incident.
Currently, Siebenaller remains in custody at the Tarrant County Jail, held without bond while awaiting further legal proceedings. The timeline for her initial court appearance has yet to be determined.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of Graham’s death and are reaching out to potential witnesses who were present during the tragic event.
