Arrest: Country Star Morgan Wallen Charged with Reckless Endangerment for Chair Incident in Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee – Renowned country musician Morgan Wallen found himself in hot water on Sunday night when he was arrested for reckless endangerment after throwing a chair off the roof of a popular bar in Nashville. The incident occurred at Chief’s Bar, owned by fellow country singer Eric Church, on Broadway street around 10:45 pm. Witnesses alleged that Wallen threw the chair, which landed dangerously close to two police officers on the street below.

Following the arrest, Wallen’s attorney confirmed that the singer was cooperating with authorities and had been released from jail pending the resolution of the case. The country star faced charges of three felony counts of reckless endangerment and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. He posted a $15,250 bond for his release and is scheduled to appear in court on May 3, sandwiched between performances at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

This incident comes amidst Wallen’s highly successful One Night at a Time tour, following the release of his record-breaking album in March 2023. Despite a tumultuous past, including a suspension by his record label in 2021 for using a racial slur, Wallen has made a comeback in the music industry, collecting major awards and embarking on his tour.

The country star’s journey hasn’t been without challenges, as he recently dealt with vocal fold trauma that delayed part of his tour last year. However, Wallen remains determined to bring his music to fans across North America, with upcoming stops in cities like New York and Denver before concluding the tour in Las Vegas on August 9th. Wallen’s resilience and dedication to his craft continue to captivate audiences, despite the occasional setbacks he has faced along the way.

As Wallen navigates the highs and lows of his career, his fans eagerly anticipate his future endeavors and performances, eager to see what twists and turns lie ahead for the talented musician.
