Thailand-Set Season 3 of The White Lotus Adds Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and More for “Supersized” Cast

Bangkok, Thailand – Walton Goggins, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola have been announced as the final cast members for the upcoming third season of HBO’s “The White Lotus” series. Filming is set to take place in various locations in Thailand, including Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, with production scheduled to begin in February. The new season will feature a new group of multi-generational guests at a different White Lotus property.

The characters in the new season include a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a country club wife, a misfit, and a yogi. Sarah Catherine Hook will play the role of the misfit, while Patrick Schwarzenegger will portray a finance guy. The season is expected to delve into themes of death in Eastern religion and spirituality, as stated by creator Mike White a year ago. More recently, White referred to the third season as “supersized” and promised it to be “longer, bigger, crazier.”

Due to strike-related delays affecting production, the new season is anticipated to be released in 2025. The new cast members will join returnee Natasha Rothwell, as well as other actors such as Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, and Christian Friedel. The show’s expansion to include a more diverse group of characters and its exploration of profound and complex themes suggest an intriguing and promising new season for “The White Lotus.”
