HARTSELLE, Ala. — An Alabama man is facing serious charges after allegedly attempting to poison his estranged wife during a turbulent divorce. Brian Mann, 36, stands accused of deliberately exposing her to lead, a claim that has led to unexpected developments and raised significant questions regarding the investigation.
The troubles began in September 2022 when Mann’s wife fell gravely ill, resulting in an extended hospital stay of about two months.
